The founder of Dolce Bakery, Moshe Soffer, had a great love for both food and people and started
the bakery in 2009. Moshe kept the business in the family, spreading happiness with no regrets and
after a few years, it was taken over by his son Russell Soffer. Two men with an equal zest for life and
for creating memorable moments put their heart and soul into their new venture.
In 2014, Dolce Bakery expanded with a retail shop, becoming a beloved neighbourhood bakery and
confectionery. The new store brought with it a flurry of new ideas that included savoury items from
New York style, traditionally boiled bagels to vegan treats, catering for all tastes and preferences.
From humble beginnings, Dolce Bakery has grown into a respected and trusted brand with a focus
on quality products, service excellence and being committed to community upliftment programs.
Sadly, in 2016, Moshe Soffer passed away, leaving behind his legacy of goodness that is continued by
Dolce Bakery-“No Regrets, Only Happiness”
